ABOUT POP is the only event for current topics related to pop culture and pop music in Stuttgart with an impact on the entire region and Baden-Württemberg. It takes place annually at the Wizemann Areal in Stuttgart-Bad-Cannstatt.
Festival
ABOUT POP is a festival and platform for a top-class, diverse and curated music program with international, national and local live acts that promotes new trends and talents.
Convention
ABOUT POP is a convention and exchange area with and for actors, artists, enthusiasts and fans of pop culture and pop music to discuss and rethink the issues of our time. ABOUT POP offers space for new theoretical discourses, collective approaches, cultural localizations, economic and social transformations and innovations, codes of youth culture, queer positions, inclusive projects, utopian narratives, social resilience, musical experiments and guilty pleasures.
Night
The ABOUT NIGHT is part of the ABOUT POP and revolves around important topics from night culture and economy. The NIGHTLEBEN COORDINATION OFFICE for Stuttgart and the region is primarily involved in the design of the ABOUT NIGHT. It combines club culture, the night economy and social coexistence and thus provides impetus for a city of the future. You can find our partners from all over Germany here.
Pre-Sessions
The pre-sessions are various events in the Stuttgart region in the run-up to ABOUT POP from April to June that are likely to surprise you . Like our After-Show party, they are part of ABOUT POP and with concerts, readings and talks, give a preview of July 22.
Talents
We want young people – whether musicians, in management, booking, with their own label, whether video directors, PR managers or journalists. You can apply for the ABOUT Talents with your personal professional vision. As soon as you are a participant of the ABOUT Talents program through a jury decision, you can let off steam with a free ticket on site. At the start you will also meet the other talents and can make initial contacts directly. Take the chance and apply to find your way into the industry, pursue it further and to develop as an artist!
