Raul Krauthausen is an inclusion activist, founder of SOZIALHELDEN and a graduate in communications. His work in the areas of inclusion and social commitment has been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit and the Grimme Online Award, among others. In 2014 his autobiography “I didn’t want to be a roofer anyway – Life from a wheelchair perspective” was published. Since 2015 he has been moderating “KRAUTHAUSEN – face to face”, a talk format on Sport1.

He regularly gives lectures on the topics of inclusion, diversity and social coexistence and presents the podcasts “In the elevator” and “The new norm”. His podcast “How can I move something?” was published in October 2021 as a book of the same name by Edition Körber publishing company. On March 14th he will publish his new non-fiction book “Anyone who wants inclusion will find a way. Those who don’t want it will find excuses” (Rowohlt bublishing), which raises fundamental questions about inclusion in Germany and encouraging readers to deal with their own ableism.
