Yes, it really exists, the latest Neue Deutsche Welle. No trend label, no joke, no sales strategy. Quite the opposite. Steintor Herrenchor is one of the few bands in the country so far that breathes new life into the reverberating nostalgia sound of ’85 in a completely unbiased way. The hitherto anonymous trio from Hanover succeeds in doing so, without any hullabaloo about their persons, the wedding arrangement of New Wave, Post-Punk and Casio-Pop in DIY mode so flawlessly, so urgently, that any nostalgia for that time either fades away or returns with even greater force.
